The ski slopes how far from Foza; Asiago how far from Foza; The nearest train station is what?

We are 9 km from Gallio; 15 from the slopes of Campomulo-Gallio; 15 from the slopes of Enego-Marcesina- Valmaron.

Asiago is 13 km away and can be reached in 12-13 minutes; the road is beautiful, scenic, sunny and yet safe even in winter.

The Valbella daci slopes are also 15 km away and can be reached in15 -18 minutes.

The nearest train station is 15 km away: the Carpenè-Valstagna station. From here it takes 1.5 hours to reach Venice by train. For those coming from Venice-Mestre and do not want to use the car, we are available to pick you up from the Carpene- Valstagna train station.

Those who come to Asiago by public transportation can still contact us . We will come to pick you up with your luggage ourselves to decrease the waiting time for connections.

One can rent a m. bikes, hiking poles, snowshoes?

Yes of course. We have this equipment and it can be rented. Those who stay in Hotel Alpi di Foza on the Asiago Plateau 7 Comuni can also take advantage of it free of charge. For the rental of other equipment, such as cross-country skis, downhill skis, and boots, we turn directly to the rentals located in ski resorts such as Enego-Valmaron, Gallio Melette, Valbella, Kaberlaba, Verena, Lavarone, and Folgaria.

Is there public transportation connecting with Asiago or Enego?...and for the ski slopes? are there transportation?

Foza is connected with Asiago and Enego by line buses of the Girardi company of Asiago. In the morning around 8:30 a.m. he goes to Asiago via Gallio. Here in Gallium, those who wish can take the connecting train to the Melette di Gallio and the Camopomulo cross-country center.

Another run is at 3 p.m.

The return from Asiago is at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

For Enego the runs are at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm with return respectively at 3 pm and 8 pm.

What are the activities that can be done in Foza?

There are numerous paths that lead to the various contrade ; others , starting right from the center lead to Monte Fior, Alle melette di Foza, Al Badenecche; still others descend to Valsugana , paths full of history that the ancient peoples of our territory used to walk even several times in a day to exchange products essential to existence, such as oats, wheat, salt, sugar.

Cross-country skiing requires moving to Gallio-Campomulo or Enego-Valmaron. One is therefore in a privileged position because both locations can be reached in twenty minutes by car. It takes fifteen minutes to reach the slopes of the Asiago Golf Course, or the slopes of Fontanelle di Asiago.

To go snowshoeing?

Snowshoeing can be done starting from the locations of the Cross Country Centers where there are dedicated snowshoeing trails.

For those who want there is the possibility of taking the trails that lead to Malga Zomo, Malga lora, monte Fior. Of course, these are more challenging routes and should only be done if you are familiar with snow and mountains as assistance on the route is not assured.

Is it possible to use a guide for individual and group excursions?

Hotel Alpi in Foza, has an agreement with the guide associations present on the Plateau and we will help you plan the various possible excursions or point you to the scheduled outings, already calendared.
